Electrocardiogram (EKG)
Your single sourced for occupational medical services.
A resting EKG can help detect cardiac abnormalities like an irregular heart rhythm or blockage of coronary arteries. Heart enlargement, nerve conduction problems and other heart muscle problems can also be detected. Any findings requiring immediate attention are referred to the employee's private physician. Stress EKG's, performed on a treadmill, are also available to assess the effects of exercise or stress on the employee's heart.
